CANCELLED

We're sorry but this workshop has been cancelled due to lack of interest before the cancellation deadline. We run our workshops "break even" charging only enough to purchase the necessary materials, food, and drinks. We set our registration dealine well in advance of the workshop so that those people who have to make travel arrangements have lots of time to book or cancel flights, hotel arrangements, etc. We cancel our workshops on the published registration deadline if we do not have sufficient registrants to pay for the workshop.

Introduction to Straw Bale Construction
Spencerville, Ontario During this four and one half day workshop we will be building a 10' x 14' (3 m x 6.5m) load bearing straw bale sleep cabin.

This year's workshop will be held at the Shanliwood Baptist Church. The church has offered their facilities for this workshop and we will be building a small sleeping cabin. The facilities at the church are fantastic. They're got a large lawn with lots of picnic tables, a patio, fire pit, kitchen, men's and women's bathrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a great meeting room. The church has offered their lawn for camping with full access to the facilities.
